Lined Envelopes

My client Eileen decided to line the envelopes of the invites I printed for her a couple of months ago. I always encourage those who opt to use an inner & outer envelope set to line the INNER one. Besides adding another layer of protection to the invites, it gives a nice pop of color and creates a refined and finished look. I offer this service at my shop, but for those crafty ones out there, it's fairly easy to do. You'll find that DIY projects are fun, rewarding, and will save you money in the end. Here's a quick tutorial care of Martha Stewart.

I love this wave-like pattern she used, so perfect for their wedding in Greece!

Eileen decided to line the rsvp envelopes with this handmade orange paper. This isn't necessary but she must've enjoyed the process and went the extra mile. Looks great :) For those interested in lining envelopes, you can use pretty much anything: newspaper, any handmade decorative papers from your local art store, or even design your own pattern on the computer and print some out. The possibilities are endless...

P.S. Looks like Eileen & Nick's wedding just happened this weekend--hope you both had an amazing day with friends and family! Congrats!
