Off the Press: Eileen & Nick invite

While we're at it, might as well post about another architecture related project! Similar to Adele, my client Eileen is also an architect but instead of getting married in Italy, she and Nick will wed in his hometown in Ithaca, Greece this summer :)




Eileen and Nick also designed this set and I merely helped put all the elements together in addition to the letterpress. I love how both invite sets have similar traditional styles as well as translations in both their native languages. Nick played around with a fun photoshop filter and gave the church tower an interesting sketchy texture. We weren't sure at first how it would letterpress, but as you can see, it came out beautifully. In addition, we got lucky with this one and were able to get our hands on a custom Greek typeface thanks to my good friend Richard! Again, all these little details make such a big difference in the end...
